If you haven't done so already, you'll need to join the site. After that, look in the upper left hand corner of this page, it should display your User ID. Clicking this link will take you to your user profile.
The user profile is basically your headquarters on the site. When other people look at it, it will simply display good things about yourself. When you look at it, it will appear covered in buttons, most notable the
button.
Clicking these will take you to where you need to be. In the case of big things such as poetry and journals it will be a separate page. Smaller items such as Shouts & Whispers will appear in a pop-up box. All of them contain instructions for their use and will carry you from there.
How do I Delete or Hide my work? While comments end with a retraction button like
Journals and Cover Art use a button which says
. Poetry uses two checkboxes for deletion confirmation (both must be checked) and one which allows the hiding of the poem (only poetry can be hidden). In the case of Journals, Cover Art and Poetry, you need to edit the work in order to get the option of deleting it. This is done by clicking the add/edit button.
Digital Verse has an open ended policy to content. As soon as you click the button it goes online. Nobody reviews the work to see if it should go online - that's what readers are for.
