Digital Verse Help

Digital Verse's help section has gotten significantly smaller than it's been in the past few years thanks to a new convention we like to call Pop Labels. These are blue tinted captions like the one above. Run your mouse over it and a small window will appear telling you what you need to know about the matter at hand. Remove your mouse from the caption and it disappears. Go ahead, give it a try.

Browser Compatibility. If it didn't work, or if the site itself seems to be acting strangely, the number one problem we encounter is browser incompatibility. All coding done for DigitalVerse is W3C compliant. No browser specific codes are used, meaning it should look and work the same no matter what you used to view it. Unless that program happens to be Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer seems to exist in its own little universe and operate in a way which is just too demanding if not plain screwy, for the designers of the site. Instead we suggest using either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome both of which are great, free, browsers that are W3C compliant. Both can be downloaded by clicking their icons to the left.

Cookie Problems. The other common problem people tend to encounter with the site is an inability to use cookies. Digital Verse does not use cookies for any of the nefarious reasons for which cookies are known. Instead we use them for the very critical matter of knowing whether or not it is you who have signed into the site. Without them, anybody could do anything online under your name.

Actually that's not exactly true. Nobody would be able to do anything online without cookies because the site is designed to not to let anyone do any of the fun things you can do with Digital Verse if you don't have the right cookie on your browser.

So if your security settings are set up to block cookies, you'll need to find some way to exempt this site. There is no other way around it.

Otherwise, DigitalVerse is not some big corporate entity or pompous and aloof outfit. If you have a question about anything, write us about it through the contact page.
