What is the Chapbook Builder?

It's good to be able to share your poetry online, yet nothing quite beats seeing ones name in print. While we can't provide the thrill of going through the traditional publishing system and having your work appear in a high profile journal such as Ploughshares or ACM, we can help with the print part.

For subscribed members, the Chapbook Builder takes the poetry you have online, allows you to select out a collection of it, click a button and generate the long scrolling manuscript of a chapbook. We even provide a document template which contains instructions on how to quickly format the manuscript and use a combination of Open Office and Lulu.com to make a printed chapbook.

How do I get to the Chapbook Builder? It's a button which appears on the Poetry Add/Edit page. However, if you're not a subscribed member of the site it won't be there.

For the record, Digital Verse is in no way affiliated with either Open Office or Lulu.com. We just like what they do and have had the most success with their services. This may change over time without our knowledge. We'll try to keep up with what they do.
